GA: Watress Fires "Warning Shot" is Fired

A different waitress, Heather Stanley, went to her car to get a gun and fired one shot into the air while the robbers ran to their cars. She said she fired in the air because she didn’t want to hit a nearby gas tank.

“She made it known she was ready to defend herself,” customer Ben McCoy said.

Stanley said she has since been fired from her job.

Too bad she was fired now maybe she will get a better job by someone that can appreciate her strength. If I was still in business she would be hired immediately. And I would give her free shooting lessons. Next time she would bag a trophy.

"Waffle House is a gun-free zone at all 1,800 of its restaurants ... As a family-friendly restaurant, it strives for policies that make everyone feel welcome ... We just feel, for our company, this is the best policy to have in place, and this is a policy that a lot of companies have.”
- Waffle House corporate spokesperson Pat Warner, http://times-herald.com/news/2016/12/waitress-sacked-for-shot-over-robbers

In other words, "Because other corporations implement Victim-Disarmament-Zones, we can too. And, armed-robbers need to feel welcome, also. So there, nyah".

Waffle House is a place I shall NEVER take MY loved-ones. Bullets not under my control are not 'friendly' to my family. If my defenses are not welcome in their House, then my body is not welcome there, either. There are PLENTY of other businesses that want my money where I know I can leave alive.
