We have a tenth amendment for a reason. Every legal jurisdiction in the country is subject to enforcing the federal laws and the federal constitution above their own. If the federal constitution or the federal law says one thing and the state law or the state constitution says something different the state law or the state constitution is what is referred to as void on its face and lacks any authority to be enforced. this is what brings issues before the U.S. Supreme Court. Even the U.S. Supreme Court has erred from time to time. The supreme court has to be held accountable when it errs. When the supreme court errs that causes great confusion for decades. If the federal constitution and the federal laws were up held correctly we would. have millions less laws and regulations. The court does not address issues until a complaint is filed. With the way congress has been acting I think President Trump will be seeing a lot of the court. Congress is over stepping its constitutional authority on several issues. A lot of elected state officials are going to be getting some big surprises. If an issue is addressed in the federal constitution, what is physically written is all there is that is required to be enforced, States have no authority to add to or remove any words. The federal constitution can only be changed by ratified amendment, Not state legislatures or even the U.S. congress. This is exactly why the 26 words of the Second Amendment are national reciprocity. Not even congress can add word/s to the second amendment. Acts and Laws are not amendments.
