(NC)Deputies: Woman, 87, scares off burglars with 9 mm gun

HENDERSONVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) - Two burglars were scared off by an 87-year-old woman armed with a 9 mm handgun Thursday morning, deputies said.  The woman called 911 after seeing two men break into her Highland Lake community home and said she scared them off when she got out her gun, Henderson County deputies said.

    To paraphrase an old saying, "87 year old women don't scare people, GUNS scare people". Good on her.
