Establish a Gun Free Zone around the President; Send Secret Service Home


The petition is up to 20,795 only needs 4,205 more.(Jan 14)

In a brilliant act of political satire, someone has created a petition to the white house here to create a gun free zone around the President and Vice President. All guns would be eliminated there, and the Secret Service would not have any.

If it is good enough for our children, It is good enough for the president, the logic goes.

I am constantly amazed that people are perfectly comfortable around someone with a gun, if the person is wearing a uniform. Remove the uniform, and the same people become very uncomfortable.

    i THINK OBAMA SHOULD SET AN EXAMPLE. HE SHOULD DO AS HE SAYS AND PUT ALL GUNS OFF LIMITS IN WASHINGTON DC.
    A GUN BAN AT THE WHITEHOUSE AND THE PENTAGON WOULD WORK TOO. SAY NO GUNS WITHIN 1000 FEET OF THEM. A GUN FREE ZONE. ALWAYS SET A GOOD EXAMPLE FOR OTHERS TO FOLLOW.

    Guns don't kill people people kill people if a person wants to kill someone whether it be a gun free zone or not they are going to find a way to kill them. We live in a crazy world and now because of some people that did horrific acts of in humane cruelty we are going to punish everyone and take away our second ammendment

    Does everyone remember the patriot act?? Certain individuals gruesome acts and then our liberties were taken away for the purpose of national security
