Maine Business Withdraws offer to Destroy Guns after Firestorm of Criticism

FAIRFIELD — A business owner who offered last week to destroy guns has changed his mind, saying he got numerous complaints from the public.

Two other people who were involved in the effort said the criticism was unfair, and the leader of the Maine Gun Owners Association urged civility.
