SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, OHIO — In separate incidents less than 12 hours apart, crime victims fought back by shooting robbers Sunday and early Monday, killing one suspect and injuring three.
In both cases, the crime victims were not hurt.
Two workers at a Sunoco gas station in Springfield Township fired their guns after a gunman shot at them during a holdup just before 12:30 a.m. Monday, police said.
The suspect, a man in his late teens or early 20s, died at the scene. His name has not been released.
