MARSHVILLE, N.C. – The Union County Sheriff's Office says an intruder was killed in an overnight home burglary.
Deputies
say a homeowner on Lanesboro Road called 911 around 1 a.m. to report
the intruder. They say the homeowner then shot the intruder while he was
still inside the house.
