Detroit police Sgt. Michael Woody says the two 19-year-old suspects, a
male and a female, broke into the home on the 19000 block of Asbury Park
just before 6 a.m. Woody says the 47-year-old homeowner fired several
shots with a rifle, striking both suspects after they broke a window and
tried to get in.
