Australian Senator Pushes for Self Defense

 Is there a constituency for freedom in Australia?  There may be:

Senator-elect David Leyonhjelm has delivered a scathing attack on the National Party, and declared himself an alternative voice for Australian farmers.

Mr Leyonhjelm also wants more relaxed firearm laws in Australia, to give people access to weapons for self-defense.

'We are not permitted to have anything at all; guns, knives, pepper sprays, mace, for personal self-defence.

'It's an abomination.'
