CO: Homeowner Fires at Fleeing Invader

"A short time later, (Ash), unknown to the homeowners, attempted to force his way into the home," the sheriff's office said. "The homeowners were able to deny (Ash) entry into the residence. The suspect then fled to his vehicle — a silver BMW sedan — leaving the female behind."

The male homeowner chased Ash, firing one shot at him. The bullet missed Ash and lodged in a nearby, unoccupied vehicle.
