“When the victim went inside, he found the defendant with one of the
victim’s firearms,” Deputy Yellowstone County Attorney Paul Chaon said
during Hoppe’s initial appearance on Monday. “The victim charged the
defendant, took the firearm (and) held the defendant in the bathtub of
his home until the sheriff’s office arrived.”
