David hits another home run.
Despite duplicitous “progressives” like Democrat State Senator John Kefalas of Fort Collins trying to put a happy face on Colorado’s most recent anti-gun edicts by making contradicted-by-reality claims that they have been “useful and effective in denying people who shouldn't have firearms,” the laws are demonstrably unenforceable failures. That’s the conclusion of a Sunday assessment in The Coloradan, noting the “background check” requirements and magazine bans have turned out to be busts.
“Twenty months into implementation, Colorado's controversial gun-control laws are mostly unenforceable and have done little to nothing to attain bill sponsors' goals, according to gun rights advocates and statewide data,” Stephen Meyers observed. Not only are prosecutions statistically almost non-existent, determined gun owners are flouting the law and satisfying their demand for standard capacity magazines in other states.
