When the manager asked Overton what was going on, witnesses told police they saw Overton punch the manager in the stomach and then deliver an uppercut to the face. A customer who was leaving the store saw what was going on, went to his vehicle, retrieved a gun from it and confronted Overton, who pushed the customer away, according to police.
