MI: Domestic Shooting may be Self Defense

BELDING, Mich. (WOOD) — A Belding woman shot and killed the man she lived with Wednesday morning, but authorities say they’re not certain her actions constitute a crime.

Eric Harrington, 35, died at the scene following the 5 a.m. shooting at the home in the 1400 block of Oakwood Street in Belding. Police say the woman who shot him remained on scene and has cooperated in their investigation.

  1. I know this couple it is a crime she has bragged to friends on her ability to lie an manipulate at ease. there is no prior history of violence between them were cops have intervined even the 911 call they ask if she is hurt. her reply is yea but not bad really not bad constitues shooting the father of your child. not considering she has fled the state abandoning all her property in order to party it up. yea really sounds like someone who needed to defend themselves. her bills were way over due and was hiding a secret life from her boyfriend. lieing about partying it up in grand rapids dressing in scandaly clad outfits. so yea the county prosecutor things there may not be a crime really check again. she worked and went to school to be a mortician around dead bodies all the time. 911 operator asks if hes dead she replies "I dont know i dont want to go near the body" really wording it that way pretty much says she new he was dead. I wonder how long she let him lay there an die before calling 911!!! this is an outrage and she needs to be held accountable. Kylie Vincent needs to be held accountable.
