OK: Neighbor at Burglary Suspects who drive at him

A burglary in a midtown Tulsa neighborhood ended with a neighbor firing shots at the intruders' car as they fled Tuesday morning.

A man called the police about a gray Hyundai parked in his neighbor's driveway in the neighbor's backyard in the 1500 block of South Columbia Avenue around 10:40 a.m., police said.

The man walked to his neighbor's house with a hand gun and saw two men in the backyard. The men told the neighbor they were looking for someone named Frank who owed them money, police said.

The neighbor told police that he didn't know a Frank and tried to block the car in the backyard by closing the gate to a chain link fence, police said.

The men then got into the car and drove in reverse into the gate, which struck the neighbor as it opened, police said.
