MO: Woman Retrievews Handgun to stop attack
The woman was walking with her friend, a 25-year-old woman, back to her residence when she was approached from behind by her ex-boyfriend. Police say the 44-year-old man punched the woman and held her around the neck, demanding money.
The friend saw the altercation and attempted to intervene, but police said she couldn't stop the suspect, so she went to her residence, contacted the police and retrieved her firearm.
