Philippines:Suspected Thief Shot Dead
This seems an assassination of a known criminal. As the police were very close at hand, one wonders if they were involved.
In an interview with Mirror, Barangay Captain Roderico Llubit said they were conducting patrol in the area when they heard three gunshots few meters away prompting them to verify what was happening. He said they saw a person lying on the ground with gunshot wounds on his head and chest.
Llubit said nearby residents also heard a speeding motorcycle after the gunshots.
Llubit said information they gathered fit to the description of a person who is “Tonton” the suspected for the series of theft incidents in the area.
