Chicago:Female Officer Chooses Death or Damage Rather than Have Family face Media Insanity

The logical extreme of a biased media narrative, political support for a racist terror organization, a "community" that has been catered to for any outrageous behavior and the complete lack of leadership throughout the upper echoelon of the Department:
  • Mayor Rahm Emanuel has been trying desperately to coax Chicago Police officers out of their defensive crouch.

Their reluctance is believed to have contributed, in part, to a 50 percent surge in homicides and shootings.

But coaxing is not working, according a story Chicago Police Supt. Eddie Johnson told at Thursday’s annual police and fire awards ceremony in the City Council chambers.

Johnson talked about something that happened Wednesday after officers responded to what he called a “simple traffic accident” that turned ugly.

“A subject who was under the influence of PCP attacked a female officer. Viciously pounded her head into the street as her partner was trying to get him off of her. This attack went on for several minutes,” Johnson told the assembled dignitaries.

As I was at the hospital last night visiting with her, she looked at me and said she thought she was gonna die. And she knew that she should shoot this guy. But, she chose not to because she didn’t want her family or the department to have to go through the scrutiny the next day on national news.
There you have it - an officer knowing she could legally use deadly force, but consciously choosing great bodily harm - or death - to herself over having to go through the manufactured outrage of a criminal community out or control. And this is a 17-year veteran.

  1. Don't worry.
These people, people putting their families and their department ahead of their lives, are a very limited number.

After this happened, I bet this cop will move to some desk position or will just find a different job where she must not choose between her life and her family and coworkers.

    The best will leave because:

    1) They are used to plunder (traffic ticket, civil forfeiture, etc.) more than they are used to protect and they signed for protect innocent.

    2) They have families and, in the end, if you don't care for your family more than your job long term whatever you do is worthless.

    2)

  2. You know they could charge the media with inciting to riot, when their stories adversely effect victims. I believe the media has a duty to report accurately. Publishing bias and opinions is dangerous. You can have all the bias and opinion you like until you publish it and cause harm. the media should be subject to civil liability for bias reporting. I would be guilty of a crime if I pulled my gun just to threaten someone. that would be an irresponsible act publishing a biased report is just as dangerous. You never have a need to pull a gun unless you use it. I do not believe in warning shots. biased reporting is the same as warning shots. You do not intend to hit anyone but you might. I once had a neighbor that told me he could drive nails with a 22. I found out later he was driving brass tack at ten feet. I thought I should be able to drive a nail so I started a 16 penny in to a 2x4 and back up about 50 feet and fired away. ricochet's are dangerous. I bent the hell out of the nail and the bullet took the corner out of my hat.

  3. She should have shot that fool. Fuck what black Lives don't matter says. Blast that fool in the face so he can't have an open coffin at his funeral.
