CA: Attempted Carjack ends With Supect Stabbed in Self Defense

A man who attempted to carjack three vehicles in Santa Rosa saw his luck run out Sunday when he tried to steal a fourth vehicle — a Hummer — and was stabbed by one of the truck’s occupants, authorities said.

David Anthony Garza-Leventon, 30, was taken to a hospital with a stab wound in his shoulder. He later was booked into the Sonoma County Jail on three counts of carjacking and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon.
