OK: Son Uses AR-15 Clone to Shoot, Kill 3 Home Invaders in Self Defense
Wagoner County deputies said at about 12:30 p.m., three masked intruders entered the home, which was occupied by a father and his 23-year-old son.
Deputies said the son shot and killed the three intruders with an AR-15. Police said two of the intruders were juveniles and another was an adult.

He writes:
"... homeowner’s son ... shot them with ... an AR-15. There might be a question of whether two men armed with a knife and brass knuckles justifies such a response."
There are also a number reader responses that say the kid over-reacted.
Perhaps readers here can go to Turley's site, and offer OUR side of reality?
I think it was a very appropriate response. Any one enters my home, and I do not care if they are armed or not, If they came in to do harm, and I assume any one that comes in without my invitation will if possible harm me. People have been killed with one punch of a fist. weapons are not required to kill. 30 years ago I would not need a weapon to defend myself but today, I'll shoot first and ask questions of the survivors. self defense does not require letting them hurt you first. I do not expect to have to ask too many questions. I'm a damn good shot. Brass knuckles and knives are deadly weapons. I know how to kill with my bare hands but I'm 69 years old and not as strong as I used to be. When you have to shoot, shoot to kill, you never know how many bullets you may need for the number of targets presented. an empty guns is worth much less than a knife.
