CNN Analyst Dead Wrong About Women And Concealed Carry

Another CNN analyst proved his ignorance about guns on Saturday by suggesting that women cannot carry concealed guns because they wear skirts and dresses.

CNN senior law enforcement analyst Tom Fuentes fiercely argued against President Donald Trump’s suggestion that teachers and school officials could prevent school shootings if they carried guns in the classroom.

His reasoning, however, was both unexpected and borderline misogynistic.

“A lot of these schools—Sandy Hook had an all-female faculty, from principal to teachers. For a woman, where are you going to hide that gun during the day?” Fuentes argued. “If you wear a dress, if you wear a skirt, are you going to have to wear a jacket everyday with a belt and a holster, the way a detective on duty would do? It’s not a real practical solution for a variety of reasons.”
