Followup WV: Attempted Abduction was False Accusation

A mother is facing charges Tuesday, and all charges against a man from Egypt are expected to be dropped after the woman said she made the story up that the man tried to abduct her child at the Huntington Mall.

The woman reported the incident Monday evening at the mall and said she pulled out a gun to scare away the reported suspect. She recanted that story on Tuesday.

  1. The mother did NOT fabricate the incident.

"She misjudged suspect’s actions ... overreacted to uninvited touching of daughter ... misinterpreted intentions of male suspect ... realized it might have been a CULTURAL MISUNDERSTANDING [EMPHASIS - ExpatNJ] ... suspect might have just been patting her daughter on the head and smiling.” [abridged].

I'll bet that guy already has a criminal record. But, the mother did not want to be viewed as, or ostracized for being, "anti-immigrant"; that's why she changed her story. Politically-correct madness in the USA, which occurred in a small, mid-Appalachian city in the middle of nowhere, no less.

The mall won't file charges against the mother; it would be bad publicity. But, I suspect the mall will quickly post very prominent "no-guns allowed" signs, and WILL prosecute any future violators.

    Let's review:
Unknown older male, touching a young girl, UNINVITED??? That is Assault and Battery, in my view, and in ANY court of law. If she had been my daughter, HELL YES, I would err on the side of caution; and, I would NOT apologize for it. And, that mother should never have apologized, either. STRANGER = DANGER.

BTW, why do we hear nothing but crickets from the "Me-Too" B/Hollywood activists, about this incident? Is it that they only want American citizens prosecuted for sexual assault, while giving carte-blanche to foreign invaders?

Apologies to our Host and readers for the rant.

  2. First thing women want to do is charge the father with child molestation, carries a lot of weight in divorce custody cases. I know, my ex charged me stopped visitation for six weeks. then I found out she was using her older brother to baby sit. When I found that out he left the state and disappeared. He had been convicted of child molesting when he was 17 years old. I was cleared and visitation was reinstated. three years later the court gave me total custody. Current mantra , women always tell the truth. I have won total custody of two daughters in different states representing myself because I was able to document all of the lies the ex's told and they lost all credibility with the courts. I told my ex wife's attorney, If her mouth is moving she is lying. I won that case with so much power, that attorney closed her office and went to work for the DA. made her look like an idiot in three consecutives Hearings.
