TX: Gunfight, Clerk Shoots at Armed Robbery Suspect, Man with Gunshot Wound Treated at Hospital

The officers tracked down the store’s owner and the clerk who was working at the time of what turned out to be a robbery attempt, and they returned to the store for interviews.

The clerk told police that a man wearing a hat and a mask entered the store and started shooting, Swanton said.

The clerk said he returned fire, Swanton said.
