It appears alcohol was involved on both sides.
Daniel plowed his truck onto Hollie’s front yard in the dark of night and knocked on the door of his home where his two small children were inside with the firefighter eventually punching the homeowner’s head with a fist, Bond detailed.
“Anybody seeing somebody driving into their driveway in a 1-ton dually in an aggressive manner in the middle of the night is going to begin to feel fear,” Bond said in an interview, adding, Hollie “only defended himself after he had been struck in the head.”
Hollie took to his .40 caliber pistol in self-defense in response to the deadly weapon threats posed by Daniel’s truck and fist, argued Conroe-based criminal defense attorney E. Tay Bond, who represented the accused.
