PLEASANT HAILL, Calif. (FOX26) — A group of young men who looked like they were about to commit a smash-and-grab robbery at a store in the East Bay were lucky to get out with just their lives after a worker pointed a handgun at them.
It happened Monday afternoon at Estates Consignments on Contra Costa Blvd. in Pleasant Hill.
Surveillance video captured a woman walking through the store while talking on a cell phone right before the attempted robbery.
