No-Hit Shooting – 2300 block of Long Beach Boulevard: On August 4, 2025 at approximately 6:49 p.m., officers responded to the 2300 block Long Beach Boulevard regarding a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located evidence indicating a shooting had occurred. The preliminary investigation indicates that a male adult suspect fired in the direction of another male adult suspect, who returned fire. No injuries were reported. Officers located one of the suspects nearby and safely arrested him. The suspect was transported to Long Beach City Jail for booking. The suspect was identified as Brylen Morales, an 18-year-old resident of Los Angeles, who was booked for assault with a deadly weapon. Bail is set at $1,000,000.
