Police determined that the 33-year-old forced his way into his ex-girlfriend’s apartment and assaulted her new boyfriend, the armed 27-year-old. He then shot the ex-boyfriend, in “self-defense,” according to GVRU.
Once detectives completed their interview, they released the shooter from police custody.
