NC: Customer shoots robber:  "Police said a man attempting to rob a convenience store early Tuesday was shot by a customer. It happened at the Kangaroo Express in the 900 block of W. Grantham St. just after 3 a.m.  Investigators said a man came into the business and showed a gun to a female clerk. A customer saw the robbery taking place and shot the man once.  The alleged robber was taken to Wayne Memorial and then flown to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.  Police said they were trying to identify the man and the investigation continues."


SAF sues county in California:  "The Second Amendment Foundation Tuesday (6/26/12) filed a federal lawsuit against Alameda County, California and the county’s Board of Supervisors for violating the constitutional rights of three businessmen by wrongfully denying them permits to open a gun shop. SAF is joined by the Calguns Foundation, California Association of Federal Firearms Licensees and businessmen John Teixeira, Steve Nobriga and Gary Gamaza."
