An apparent home invasion erupted into gunfire Saturday evening in Boardman.
The incident occurred around 5:15 p.m. at 61 Terrace Drive. The Boardman Police Department said a group of four people showed up at the home, believed to be looking for something.
Officers said one of the suspects, Keemoni Harris, 22, of Campbell, and the homeowner, James Truman Sr., exchanged gunfire, firing about five shots. Truman wasn't hit, but officials said Harris went to the hospital with three non-life threatening gun shot wounds.
