Police were looking Monday for a man who tried to rob a Santa Paula store Sunday but fled after the clerk fired a shotgun at him.
Police responded to a report of an attempted robbery at 8:21 p.m. at Junior's Market, 502 N. Oak St. A man pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money, according to Santa Paula police.
