BloombergBusinessweek Gets it Wrong on Ninth Circuit Appeal of Peruta

Yesterday, BloombergBusinessweek reported that a stay was granted to California AG Kamala Harris on the Ninth Circuit ruling of Peruta v. County of San Diego, the ruling that confirmed the right to bear arms outside the home.  From BloomberBusinessWeek:

California rules allowing counties to place restrictions on who can carry concealed weapons will remain in force while the federal appeals court that struck them down decides whether to reconsider its decision.
I believe this to be incorrect.  The court has not reached a decision to grant Kamala Harris the motion for intervenor status nor stayed the decision, as per Christopher J. Hoffman, a commenter on the site.  This confirms what I know about the case.

A stay may be granted in the future, but it has not yet been granted.
