The second incident, Persaud said occurred around 2 am today at the
Church Street, Annandale home of Ishwar Jeffrey during which an intruder
was shot dead while his two accomplices managed to escape.

He awoke his son Mananno Jeffrey, 31 years, who is a Rural Constable
and a member of the Annandale North Community Policing Group and who is
licensed to use the Policing Group’s firearm.
Mananno Jeffrey armed himself with the firearm and on checking was confronted by three men in the building.

of the men discharged a round at Mananno Jeffrey who returned fire,
