Fort Worth police are investigating a shooting that they believe occurred during an attempted break-in early Wednesday, officials said. Officers responded to the 4300 block of Berke Road shortly after midnight on Oct. 30 regarding a shooting call. They found a person with two gunshot wounds, according to police. The individual was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Investigators currently believe the person was shot by the homeowner during an attempted break-in, police said
