BELMONT COUNTY, OH — The Bellaire Police Department is investigating a domestic incident that sent three people to the hospital on Monday morning. Police were notified of shots fired in the area of 41st Street and Noble Street. When police arrived, they found a male had been struck with an axe, and had then shot the attacker in self defense.
