Robber and victim both die in Philadelphia : "New details emerged Thursday about a drug-related shooting in Philadelphia that left two men dead, including one from Reading. According to Philadelphia police: Izaire Cotto, 25, of Neversink Street went to Philadelphia with two other people to buy a pound of marijuana. He picked up his sister and some other people in Philadelphia and went to a location in southwest Philadelphia, where they had arranged the drug deal. Cotto and a friend got out of their car and met two men, but instead of selling drugs to Cotto they pulled out guns to rob him. Cotto, who had $2,700 in his pocket and also was carrying a gun, fired as the would-be robbers shot at him. One of the would-be robbers, Jermaine McAllister, 23, of Philadelphia was shot. Police said they are looking for the other gunman."

Obama positioning for backdoor gun control: “On his recent trip to Central America, President Barack Obama did more than cozy up to Marxist dictators; he also signed onto an international treaty that could, in effect, be used as backdoor gun control. It appears that Obama wants to use international treaties to do what congressional legislation is not able to do: further restrict the right of the American people to keep and bear arms.”
