Gun Bill Would Curb U.S. Firearm Laws in Arkansas


As legislators returning to Little Rock on Monday (Jan. 14) prepare to grapple with budget, health care and education issues, bills dealing with guns also are expected to receive attention.

A Facebook post over the weekend indicates a gun bill modeled after legislation in Wyoming could surface in Arkansas. The 2013 Wyoming bill says any federal ban on semi-automatic firearms or the size of a magazine or “other limitations on firearms” would be unenforceable in that state.

The three-page Wyoming measure also would impose felony penalties on U.S. agents attempting to enforce federal gun laws in the state.

Similar legislation is going to be introduced here in Texas by a Rep out of the Woodlands. Its about time people started standing up for our rights.
