(KCEN) -- Gun enthusiasts from across the county came to Temple today and brought their guns.

A YouTube video of a soldier disarmed by a Temple Police officer triggered a rally in defense of the Second Amendment.

When Sergeant C.J. Grisham posted the video, he had no idea the kind of response it would get.

One of his 5-million viewers was Murdoch Pizgatti who started an online moment for Sgt. Grisham.

And today his supporters came to downtown Temple, armed.

"I feel safer here than I do anywhere else. If I was in a gun-free zone like a school, I'd be scared. Because one weirdo can walk in there and do a lot of damage," said Pizgatti.

With hand guns and assault rifles 200 people marched Main Street, purposely passing the police department, all in protection of the Second Amendment.
