TX: Resident Shoots, Kills, Man Attempting Break-in

Pace said officers arrived and found a 21-year-old male dead inside the residence after a 23-year-old male fired a weapon, striking the man several times, according to a police news release. The shooter lived at the residence and said the man was breaking a window to enter the home. The release said the resident told officers the man had first tried to come in through a door.
