GA: Gunfight, Loomis Guard Fights off Men Armed with Rifle and Pistol

“At that time a male exited the vehicle with a rifle and started to fire at the victim,” Atlanta police spokeswoman Officer Lisa Bender said in a statement. “The victim stated that he was able to retreat to a position behind the armored vehicle and returned fire towards the suspects.”

A passenger in the sedan also fired toward the guard, she said. The gunmen then jumped back into the sedan and drove away, the guard told police.
