OH: Armed Homeowner Shoots 1 Home Invasion Suspect, 2 Others arrestec
After the initial investigation, it appears the armed homeowner confronted two adult male suspects at his residence. As a result of this confrontation, one male suspect shot. He was transported from the scene to Genesis Hospital with a single gunshot wound.

It is sane and good to know how to properly handle a fire arm, particularly a hand gun.
Ya just don't go to your local gun shop and buy one, you need to practice, practice & practice. Take a NRA class, learn to hit a target, learn how to safely load unload and clean your weapon. Then practice some more.
Carrying a weapon is a right and a responsibility! You shoot and you are responsible for what you hit. Carry the right insurance. Join the NRA. they have insurance you can buy or will lead you to a good carrier.
If you do not want to do the work necessary, buy a hammer, a club or a short 2 x 4.
