TN: Employee Shoots, Kills Armed Robbery Suspect

Update, Feb. 28, 2019: A 15-year-old was shot and killed while allegedly trying to rob an east-side pawn shop with a stolen gun.

An employee shot the teen during the robbery attempt at the E-Z Pawn in the 6200 block of East Washington Street just before 3:40 p.m. Wednesday, according to an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department news release.

The Marion County coroner's office identified the teen as Ja’Shawn Taylor.
