TV and Furniture as dangerous as Guns to Children under 10


As many children under ten die from accidental falling TVs and Furniture as from guns. New numbers show a record number of people were killed by falling televisions, furniture, and appliances in 2011. The report from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission shows 41 people were killed in 2011, an increase from 31 in 2010, and 27 in 2009. The data shows that the majority of those killed were under the age of nine. . . .
