TRINITY COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - Officials with the Trinity County Sheriff's Office believe that an armed neighbor prevented a violent confrontation between an armed convicted felon and a woman from the Glendale community from escalating into something much more serious Tuesday.
The threatened individual armed himself with a 9mm, and called 911. The aggressive neighbor, who was armed with a .243 rifle, backed off. Sheriff deputies arrived and arrested the man.
