Officials say Robert L. Brown, 20, died near the Rudyard Road home where
he and another man beat and pistol-whipped resident Everton Mosby, 24.
Mosby shot Brown and cohort Willie R. Riley, 27, about 2:30 a.m. The
suspects approached Mosby in his driveway and forced him inside the
home, police said.
