SHALLOTTE, NC (WWAY) – A Brunswick County man says two state troopers
bullied him while he was trying to pick up lunch Tuesday afternoon.
The reason: he was wearing a holstered gun.
"I like to protect myself and I have the right too," Donnie Long said.
You don't see it very often, but in North Carolina, a legal gun owner
can wear a gun out and about. It's called Open Carry, and the only
thing that can stop you is a sign on a business barring your weapon.
