Sheriff Moore says Pitts was attempting to break in his step-father's
house through a window this morning, when the step-father shot him.
Pitts was treated and released for the gunshot wound to his arm, then
taken to jail. The sheriff says the homeowner was not charged in the
incident because he was protecting his family and property.
