JACKSON, Neb. | Police said a homeowner in rural Jackson, Neb., shot a person trying to break into a house.
The
Dakota County Sheriff's Office in a statement said they were contacted
at 4:31 a.m. after a man was brought into Mercy Medical Center with a
gunshot wound.
