Two teenage boys entered a house that was open. They encountered a
73-year-old man who was inside the house with his cat and dog. One of
the burglars fired one shot, missing the man, Candelas said.
The
man went to get his gun and when the teens realized it, they ran from
the home, firing rounds in the air, Candelas said. They fled in a silver
or gray sedan.
