SC: Homeowner Shoots Pit Bull that Chased her into her House



Matthews said the woman retrieved a firearm from her home and began shooting in order to break up the attack.

But, the pit bull turned on her, however, the woman was able to defend against the attack with a chair, according to Matthews. She then went into her home, but the pit bull was able to get inside through a “doggy door.”

Matthews said the woman, who was in fear for her own safety and the safety of her other small dogs, shot the pit bull several times, killing it.
