CA: Man, Alerted by Phone, Shoots Burglary Suspect

The man armed himself with a gun and went to check the rest of the house, where he found a man and woman going through his belongings, according to police.

"He confronted the two subjects at gunpoint, and fearing for his life, fired several rounds from his firearm," police said in a statement.
